The EPOPSIS Non-Profit Organization for Culture and the Postgraduate Program in Creative Writing at the University of Western Macedonia, under the auspices and support of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Writers' Association of Thessaloniki, are organizing the 2nd International Performance Poetry Symposium-Festival (PerPoSF#2) taking place December 4-6, 2026 at Warehouse D, port of Thessaloniki, Greece .

Titled "INTRA // BLANC", PerPoSF#2 explores performance poetry as a liminal art form and an aesthetic field of transition: a site where energy flows between voice and writing, body and language, the tangible and intangible, presence and memory, the ephemeral and the documented, the poet and the audience, as well as diverse artistic practices and emerging technologies, all converging into modes of presence that together constitute the poetic event itself. Under this framework, performance is approached as an intra-active, multidimensional field of co-constitution, where subjects, materials, and technologies, emerge synchronically and interdependently through the generative force of their relationships, weaving together contexts, rhythms, textures, and configurations.

PerPoSF constitutes a meeting ground for poet-performers, poet-artists, spoken word, phonetic and sound poets, intermedia artists, academics, researchers and the general public, from Greece and abroad, where the creative exchanges of work, views and ideas can take place; a true celebration of Performance Poetry.
