The PerPoSF hosts live Performance Poetry events, screenings of digital performance poems, Spoken Word Poetry events and other forms of "beyond the page" poetry, such as Installed Poetry, Sound and Phonetic Poetry and actions of performance writing, engaging the audience in a dynamic, participatory, multi-layered, and multisensory poetic experience.

Interactive workshops, presentations, and open discussions play a central role in the Symposium-Festival, offering participants the opportunity to explore, experiment with, and deepen their understanding of Performance Poetry.

Τhe PerPoSF offers a meeting ground for poet-performers, poet-artists, spoken word, vocal, and sound poets; artists, academics, researchers, and the public from all over the world. A creative exchange of works, opinions, and ideas, showcasing the diversity of Performance Poetry practices on an international level.

In performance poetry, poetic language unfolds and recontextualizes itself through its organic fusion with different forms of art (video art, photography, musical landscapes and soundscapes, installations, light painting, body painting, etc.) and the creative use of digital technology. It is an interactive process that culminates in an intermedia, three-dimensional poetic event, inviting the audience to a live, dynamic, participatory, multi-layered, and multisensory poetic experience. Within the framework of PerPoSF, poet-performers will have the opportunity to co-create and collaborate with renowned artists.

As part of the Symposium-Festival, the integration of Performance Poetry as a pedagogical tool in the educational process is explored, as it offers a dynamic approach to poetic language and an active means of self-expression, personal development, and student cultivation. This initiative aims to rejuvenate young people's interest in poetry through interactive and participatory methods.
