GENERAL TERMS

Event Format: The PerPoSF#2 will take place in person on December 4–6, 2026, in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Submission Period for the PerPoSF#2: September 1 – October 20, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Categories: Performance Poetry, Spoken Word & Slam Poetry, Video/Digital Performance Poetry, Video Poetry, Installed Poetry, Academic Papers and Workshops.

Theme & Language: Open theme; open language.

Poetic Work Duration: Up to 8 minutes per work.

Academic Papers Presentation/Speech Duration: Up to 15 minutes.

Submission Process: Proposals must be sent via SwissTransfer to perposf@perposf.com and must include:

(a) A brief biography (up to 50 words) in PDF format, and an artistic headshot/photograph (JPG format, file size over 500KB).

(b) The poetic text or the abstract of the paper/presentation (up to 300 words) in PDF format.

(c) For live performance poems: A brief concept description detailing any technological media, intermediaries, or participating artists, along with pre-recorded audio (MP3/WAV) or video (MP4 HD, 1920×1080).

(d) For video poems, pre-recorded or digital performance poems: English subtitles are required, and video files must be submitted in MP4 HD (1920×1080) format.

(e) A signed acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of Participation (please attach an electronic declaration).

Note: Submissions missing required files or consent will not be evaluated.

Evaluation: All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific and Artistic Committee. The Committee’s decisions are final and non-negotiable.

Announcement: Selected entries for PerPoSF#2 will be announced on November 10, 2026.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Depth and strength of the poetic text, interdisciplinary artistic elements, and overall audiovisual quality
  • Authenticity and originality
  • Performance and interpretation skills
  • Overall production quality

Terms & Conditions of Participation

By submitting a work to PerPoSF, the artist agrees to the following:

  1. Voluntary Participation: Participation in the Symposium-Festival is voluntary, with no financial compensation for performance or inclusion in the program.
  2. Rights & Clearances: Works are submitted free of claims for remuneration, copyright, neighboring rights, or other compensation on behalf of the submitter or any co-creators. It is the artist’s responsibility to secure all necessary third-party permissions (for music, visuals, stock video, images, etc.) prior to submission. PerPoSF assumes no liability for copyright infringement.
  3. Promotional Rights: Artists grant PerPoSF the unrestricted right to use event footage, photos, video/audio recordings, names, and biographical information across broadcast, print, and digital media to promote the festival.
  4. Archival & Educational Rights: Following the event, organizers retain non-exclusive usage rights to festival recordings for promotional materials, educational purposes, and festival proceedings. Materials may be edited or cropped for promotional needs. Artists retain full ownership of their original work but agree to credit PerPoSF if presenting work created specifically within the framework of the festival.
  5. Submission Fee: A non-refundable fee of €25 per work (VAT included) is required upon submission. Deposits should be made to:

  7. Program Changes: Live performances and screenings are scheduled at the discretion of the Committee. While every effort will be made to adhere to the published schedule, organizers reserve the right to adjust timings, venues, or programming without liability or financial obligation to participants.
  8. Expenses: The organizers do not cover travel, accommodation, or meal expenses for participants.
  9. Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years of age (or provide written parental/guardian consent).
  10. Certificates will be given to all those who attend the Symposium-Festival.
